What Does this pelvi-abdominal Ultrasound Result Mean?
Hi, my sister did a Pelvi-Abdominal US and I need to know what meant by the following;
1. PV is patent and not dilated (CBD is not dilated)
2. The gall bladder: shows small anterior wall polyp measuring 3x4 mm with no calculi or mud seen
3. AVF non-gravid bulky uterus. A large mixed echogenicity fibroidal mass measuring 10x9.1x0.2 cm. Endometrium in not thickened.

hi, Dr. boskey gandhi is here, here, u had mentioned only portal vein, gall bladder &uterus status, from which portal vein & gall bladder are normal. uterus show 10cm sized fibroid mean its one kind of benign tumour of uterus. here size is significantly high. if your sister is married & completed her family, I mean age over 40yrs, my frank advice is, go for removal of uterus & should be check that biopsy in terms of histo pathological report. so all the best.
